Would be nice if we can get finnaly some 100% info about the episode count because so far some sites list it with 12ep while on other side we got few sites that confirm it for 50ep *-*
So would be nice if someone from ANN staff could look more into it or ask around people that might know it^^

The fact that it's getting a new ending theme in July (i.e. when the summer season starts) is pretty much a dead giveaway that it's going to be more than 12 episodes. Also, it's a daytime TV Tokyo series airing in the 6 pm hour on Wednesdays, which usually indicates a longer-running show. From April of 2015 through the end of March, TV Tokyo had Gintama° airing on Wednesdays at 6 pm and Battle Spirits: Burning Soul at 6:25 pm, and both of those ran for 51 episodes. When Gintama° ended, they moved the new season of Battle Spirits to the Wednesday 6 pm slot and Twin Star Exorcists took over the 6:25 pm slot.

Hmm thats some intersting facts, thanks for this info didn't know about it Kinda makes me happy because this would prove then that we really might be in for a 50ep anime specialy since the anime started to get good and we finnaly started to learn more about the whole story

No chance of a 50 episode series unless they go into serious filler, simply not enough material. They're adding in a lot of filler, padding it, seemingly moving events around for no reason (where the hell is Kamui at!?) and even cutting stuff so 24 episodes seems most likely.
Not happy about it either, while not ruining the series completely it has made it much worse which is a great shame.

Well they might just go into original stuff maybe the author has the material or well the story ready how it would go and well it never really followed much the manga as i hear like the familiar that benio has that one shouldnt be there from the start anyway thats why we need some 100% info because atm we got evidence which could show that we will get maybe 24ep while at same time we also have few confirmations for 50ep.
Eh well lets see what happens within the next episodes atleast after ep12 we should probably have some 100% info on the episode count i would say....

8 volumes have released in Japan, at the moment about 2 volumes worth has been covered once you take into account what has been cut so at the current pace it seems to be heading for 24 eps.
Anything longer than that is very rare and only happens for series with real long running potential like World Trigger or Diamond no Ace, these are big properties. Not saying it couldn't happen but it'd be a massive risk to take since the sales boost hasn't been too noticeable and since the whole point of adapatations these days is to promote the source it makes little sense.

Chinese streaming service has confirmed that it will run for 50 episodes. Not to mention, the timeslot in which the series runs has always aired long running series.
By the way, the anime didn't cut any content. They're just rearranging it.

I'll wait for official confirmation on the episode count.
I did initially say they were seemingly moving content around (which makes it worse) but until episode count is revealed though we can't really say. At the moment this content has been and no sign of it appearing yet.
