Yaaaaaas hopefully we'll get box art, pix of the legendaries, or maybe the starters.

I can't wait to see some artwork of some new Pokémon and maybe a few screenshots of the titles!

Getting nervous here, mainly about the new Pokemon. Hope we get a better variety to choose from this time.

The Reveal will most likely be a screenshot of the trailer we already had with the staff talking about how they made the trailer.

Frankly, I LOVED the XY starters when they were announced and ended up liking the one I liked the least at announcement the most after using it competitively. In terms of the other Kalos Pokemon, I certainly feel iffy about the low number of new Pokemon, but the Mega Pokemon certainly made up for that in a way. Design-wise, I did feel some Mega Pokemon looked weird, but I instantly loved a lot of the new Kalos Pokemon.
The two things I'm really hoping they don't discard after XY are Mega Pokemon and character customization. Mega Pokemon don't seem likely at this point if Satoshi Gekkouga (Ash Greninja) is what we think it is. As for character customization, who knows. On the one hand, this is a very Kalos-like feature and may be limited to just Kalos, like how many awesome features are limited to the themes of one region in the past. On the other hand, it IS really popular and could have some obvious potential to stay if the creators treat it more like a mechanical function, like the Masuda method of breeding for shinies or some alternate evolution methods. There's lots of evidence to suggest either way, but not enough solid evidence to really say, and I'm holding onto hope...

That starter wouldn't happen to be Delphox, would it? It's more limited in online battling than Chesnaught or Greninja, but I can still make good use out of it. Especially with Magician.
Having a gameplay functionality to character customization would be a bad thing, if you ask me, because people will gravitate towards whatever they think is optimal, creating the same look for a lot of player characters. I think character customization should be a matter of personal artistic tastes and nothing more.
It did work in Splatoon to an extent, but most people have rainbow pimp gear and there are items of clothing very few people are using (like ones with Recon and, until recently, Last Ditch Effort) while some others are everywhere competitively (like Cold-Blooded and Comeback).

Actually, while I have a Mafoxy/Delphox on my Fire-mono competitive team (and love it for what it does), my least favorite was Gekkouga/Greninja, which, obviously, has a lot of competitive love. For good reason.
And that's not really what I meant. I meant treating "customization" as a strict part of the series' new tradition, like they've treated most mechanical additions (such as when they made physical and special stats/moves separate, or when they have added new types or modified old ones).

What do you mean by character customization in a mechanical sense then? I don't fully understand.

Not in a mechanical sense, but treated the same as a mechanical function. Make it a new, permanent standard, just like they've done with a lot of mechanical changes/additions over the years.

Looking forward to the details! I already have Pokemon Moon on pre-order through GameStop.
I'm hoping that the character customization feature will come back; I loved that in X and Y and spent most of my time after the bulk of the main game was done trying buy and collect all of the clothing options. I would also love it if they could bring back the feature that allows the first Pokemon in your party to follow you around, but I could see that being very intensive to develop correctly.

Oh, you mean as in to keep it in subsequent games, and perhaps evolve and refine it as more games come out?
