It's a good idea to include the option for entrants to select the DVD they'd like. Considering things like Magic Users' Club had a DVD release years ago, it does help avoid a winner potentially getting something they already have.

Put one in for magic user's club. I heard of it but never got around to seeing it. And I'm always down for some 90's anime goodness.

Normally give-aways have a set number of copies of each item available, so this kind of setup isn't possible.
Each show has a promotional budget that may be part of the contract with the licensor. So it's no good if Nozomi gives away 10 copies of title X (going over budget and having to absorb the extra cost themselves) and 0 copies to Title Y (staying under budget and not meeting their promotional obligations). Of course, the budgets are much bigger than just 10 titles, so while they try to do things evenly, there is room for a few variations like this...
I pitched this to my contact at Nozomi, he liked the idea and spent a couple days trying to get his higher-up to approve it, and fortunately she did.
*I'm well aware that give-aways may not even count as part of the promotional budget, but just "unsold stock." Please don't lecture me on how the industry works...

All of these titles were previously released by ADV, Pioneer/Geneon..
I was gonna say Holy 1990's batman! not that there is a problem with that..
It's nice to see out of print titles come back.

Couldn't decide between Gasaraki and El-Hazard. Flipped a coin. Sorry Gasaraki better luck next time. Both are titles I've wanted to get new copies of for a while now. Btw, Link's Pottery ftw!

Not quite all. Gasraki was ADV and El Hazard The Wanderers was Pioneer granted. However, Gauken Alice was a prior Nozomi release, The Magic Users Club TV & OAV were Anime Works (Media Blasters) and Pita Ten doesn't seem to have been released in North America before.

Wow. I didn't even see this Give-Away. And today is the last day!
I'm unfamiliar with anything after El-Hazard. But I choose Gasaraki because it seemed less childish and it looked like it would up my ally.

So coming back and looking, it seems the contest changed yesterday to include a question at the bottom that had to be answered. If we entered few days ago without answering that re we disqualified? I didn't want to do a double entry plus the dead line is like now so im hoping not to be disqualified.

Minor error on the giveaway entry.
I enter the first time without answering the required question
"Nozomi is the anime label associated with which online vendor?"
So I try to enter again but it won't let me.
Would it be okay if I enter a relative's name with a different email since the first entry is already invalid.

That answered my question
Don't recall seeing that question either when I enter the first time.
