What. What? Whaaaat?! Why is Haifuri not licensed in Finland? I wanted to watch it! I'm disappointed beyond words...

Doesn't matter for me personally(also a Finlander here Smile ) as I watch all shows off-site(much less headaches of this and other kind...) . I do have CR sub though.

That said, on the whole, this season's announcements have been surprisingly good regarding shows available to this region, at least of the shows I'm likely to follow only a few haven't been available here. Actually, I can't off-hand recall any, unless you count Asterisk but that's on Daisuki. The rest of the offenders are either Funi or otherwise unavailable...

This does muddle it a bit as Haifuri I am going to follow, and I give a small chance on RIN-NE 2 (in which case I probably should dig up the first part from somewhere as I haven't watched that either...).

Since this article was posted, CR added the following territories for RIN-NE 2:

At least for now I still get "Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region" on the show's page...

Don't forget that the first series is also on that page, and it isn't licensed for those added regions. That warning is displayed if any of the videos on the page are not available to your region.

Finland is not a part of Scandinavia (It consists of Denmark, Sweden and Norway). That's probably why Blanchimont can't see the series. It's licensed in the other Nordic Countries, just not Finland, which usually is mentioned separately in the region list.

@Yuri Fan

Actually, TheAncientOne is right, the second season seems to be available to Finland, but not the first.

Generally, if CR announces Scandinavia for a show, it includes Finland as well.

My apologies then. Altough I must say Crunchyroll is mistaken! xD

Too bad they haven't licensed Haifuri here. I'll have to watch it by other means.

It is more up to the licensor what countries are included in a region. Although I don't remember the show, there was that time when the licensor included Belgium in "German speaking territories".

A far less egregious example of this is the way some contracts call out "Europe, including the UK", while others just state "Europe", despite both meaning the same thing. There also use to be those that would state "North America" when they really meant only the US and Canada, although I don't recall having seen any of those recently.
