When I want to find an anime to watch, I search for different genres. Unfortunately this website don't offer the oppurtunity to browse animes that way. I want to find a good slice of life + drama + romance-anime (yes, like Rumbling Hearts) and I'm to scared to ask for it in the forum ^^. So, why can't you search for genres? Or can you? In that case... where?

You're request his has been asked before and it is being worked on according to this topic. For now, you should have browsed the first post in the "Looking for a new anime to watch? Click here to know how" topic. It tells you about the genre search available at AnimeNFO, and this neat feature at anime planet. And after you have some names if want more info you can look them up in the Encyclopedia here. And you can also just search the name Rumbling Hearts or Kimi ga Nozomu Eien in the forums here. Almost every discussion topic on any given anime usually nets at least a couple of posts where someone compares the anime to others in the same genre, and sometimes you even run into old recommendations threads that asked the same question. And if you are really insane, once you find those topics, look to see who posted in them and then look to see if the user has a public list you can browse. There are many ways of finding stuff like this, as I have learned from just hanging out on this site and the forums. Good luck with the anime hunt. |

Thanks! I'm kind of a n00b so I don't know how things works here.
So thanks for the tips. But ANN should really have this kind of search available.
