I just talked to Arias a few days ago, and he said a street date for it should be up soon. So, no, it's not going to be another one of those No. 5 deals for you guys.

Guess I wasn't paying attention back when No. 5 came out (I had to look it up to see what it was) but I took it as a matter of course that Sunny will be fully released in English. Vol 6 has only been out for three months in Japan, so it's still pretty new.
On the whole I think the manga industry is in a much better place these days, and publishers are more aware when they do take risks, so they're unlikely to drop series the way they sometimes did years back. |
