Not sure I'm a fan of the new intro theme but it'll grow on me I guess :/ |

That opening song is pretty weak. Or rather, the vocals are. The instrumentals are fine. I do like some of the imagery in there though... most notably Sailor Saturn looking super ominous. As someone whose biggest expectation about seeing a true-to-the-manga remake of Sailor Moon was getting Saturn's intro redone, those two shots alone just make me incredibly excited for this.
...Even if I still feel I need to keep my expectations somewhat in check, considering what a tremendous disappointment season one was. |

Yeah it kinda is. But I'm guessing that they're going by arcs. So that would make the Black Moon arc season 2 and the Dark Kingdom arc season 1. |

Loved what I saw in motion. Only design I don't like are how they changed the cats(too square-headed), the eyes(could have dialed lower on the shine in them), and making the Inner scouts look young when they didn't really have to. Loved everything else. Like the look of Season II, so happy I got the style I wanted from my favorite arc and looking forward to this new style in the next seasons. I already like that they are doing more of Uranus and Neptune's bonding.
Positive we'll get Super S now, so maybe that'll help me like that season.

Somehow I'm not really impressed by the new opening theme. I love the visual of it, just not the music. It seems more toned down compared to the first seasons opening. I know this new arc can be a somewhat somber arc at times, but I would have preferred an opening theme that sounds confident and cheerful.

So freaking excited! I couldn't sit through the first two season due to the art style, but I might actually watch this! Plus, it's by far my favorite arc of the series that I remember from watching the original anime as a kid!
Also, that OP is so damn catchy and cute! I've had it on repeat for over 10 minutes now!

Junko Minagawa's voice sounds very manly in the ED. If I'd hear this song out of context, I would definetely thought that it's a male singning here.

The new opening was alright although I wish the singer was a little more cheerful and confident. I love the new animation in this, especially in the opening theme where the senshi were flying and using their attacks. Haruka and Michiru were beautiful as usual and their OP was adorable. What an adorable couple.
Pluto is back from the dead! Thank goodness she's back because without her the sailor senshi would be dry. Hotaru looked nice and beautiful. I can't wait for the season premiere Sailor Moon S (yes, I'm calling this season Sailor Moon S, not Sailor Moon Crystll III). It's my favorite season in the entire series. |

That makes no sense. Why would Toei confirm such vital information exclusively with ANN instead of publicly themselves? Also, how was ANN able to get a way to talk with Toei? |

I didn't notice the part saying that it was Uranus and Neptune's voice-actors singing the song... and I was convinced that it was a man singing. Heck, I was this close to making a comment about how even if Sailor Uranus is a pretty masculine character to begin with, having her part in the song represented by a man was a bit much... That said though, I think the ending song is considerably better than the opening song is. |
