Well hello there, my new hype show for the Summer season.
Seriously though I am a damn sucker for period piece dramas(part of the reason Rakugo is my favorite new show from this season and why Joker Game is my main non-sequel hype show for the Spring). |

Woah, at first I was skeptical due to the studio, but that animation in the PV was great! The character designs look amazing as well.
This is right up my alley. Will be checking out! |

Can't say the staff or the studio are very exciting, but the premise seems interesting so I'll at least give this a try if the writer isn't someone I really dislike.

Great seeing Shuka staying active with a full series post-DRRR!!, rather than being a temp studio founded just for the adaptation. I'm very intrigued not only with this series, but also if these will be the type of works that Shuka will be doing…
It should also be noted, as mentioned on Twitter, that WIT STUDIO will be providing production support, as well. Given their style and DRRR!!'s, the look and quality of the trailer makes a whole lot of sense…

I gotta admit, when I briefly scanned the article title and saw both "Durarara" and "Prohibition-era", for a very small small split-second my heart stopped. But no, it's not Baccano!, and I would be bitter about this if it didn't look cool anyway. Maybe it can help fill the hole in my heart. |
