That's nice of Megumi. She does have experience in this area so I'm not surprised at the response.

No complaints with Minagawa Junko as Haruka Surprised
she's actually one of my fav JP VA out there.

One particular reason being, her voice when she sang character song for Oz Vessalius (Pandora Hearts) sounded convincingly male haha

That's sweet of her. It'll be interesting to hear Junko's take on Haruka.

It will be VERY interesting to hear how Ten'ou Haruka in Sailor Moon Crystal will sound like. The possibility of sounding like a slightly higher-pitched teenage boy--in my opinion!--may not be far-fetched. After all, when we first meet Haruka in the manga, most people thought Haruka was male.

So Count Waltz from Eternal Sonata will be the new voice of Uranus and Selvaria Bles from Valkyria Chronicles will be Neptune. This will be very intriguing to hear.

If this clip from the event is anything to go by then she'll probably do fine.

Sometimes fans need to calm down. But all is well. Love you as well Ogata-san. You have always been my deep voiced gal.

Manga Haruka was different than the original anime's Haruka. I guess the ones complaining never really read the manga and don't understand why the person who was chose to voice their original anime's "Character" wasn't chose to voice the manga-style character.

Just go watch the original anime if you want to, dang...

Personally, I'm more than HAPPY to get over an into these arcs. Once it hits the SuperS arc I'll be ecstatic. I wonder how crazy people will go then considering how off-the-wall nuts crazy different it is.
...Can't wait till spoiler[two little birds] have their voice actors and people get all confused and are like D8 WUT this isn't like the original!

And then Stars, ooh boy, those Seiya/Usagi fans are going to riot when there is like nothing there; and then all that other stuff goes completely weird.

It was nice to see her so sweet and mature about it. That's wonderful of her, and she has the point and idea about her Haruka being different from the manga version, and how this version will of course be different.

I'm looking forward to this and really value it. I'm excited, and I hope others will enjoy it, especially those that were initially against the different voice actresses.

@ Lady Multi : Lol, agreed entirely. Especially on that Seiya part.

Yeah, I'm glad she responded in kind words; hopefully this will quell the ones that messaged her in droves. Really it was kinda disrespectful to the chosen voice actor, who was chosen for a reason.
...I guess as a manga-verse fan I'm happy with ALL their choices. I've yet to be disappointed with any of it except maybe a bit of the pacing and the episode release timing..

xD Yeah, I'm readying the popcorn for the SMStars riots. I'm pretty sure a lot of the old anime fans may not be aware that the anime SMStars was made whilst the manga was unfinished so they do not match at all.

It was, huh? When you put it like that, I feel they resented the new seiyuu but wouldn't contact her directly, so they ran to Ogata, hoping she would take their side. (Kind of disrespectful to both, but especially the new seiyuu.)

Same~! I may have started with the classic anime, but I'm always a larger fan of the manga, first and foremost. Everything they've done has been wonderful to me. Some choices I think were unnecessary, but it's wonderful and amazing for me to see so many moments I love finally get animated, and to see the personalities I love be animated as well.

Oh, man. The amount of popcorn that will be needed for that. Like, from start to finish, Stars is so different. I was already irritated that the Dream arc bled over and then was handled kind of meh to me, but even after that bit of filler, the arc is still so wildly different.

Yeah, I'm glad Ogata handled it so very tastefully. Smile Shows she's handing her role as Haruka's former voice actress correctly. Smile When I want to hear her work as the character, I have all my DVDS. Smile

Anime exclamation Oh the anime got me started but I fell IN LOVE with the manga. I never liked the whole arc that's coming up (Sailor Moon S season; I forget their actual arc names I used to have them down). SuperS and Stars sold me on being one of my favorite manga series and why the manga is better than the anime for me.

The Quartet change in Supers anime saddens me still; though the Trio's expansion made me happy.
...Stars was well...clearly...rushed...The minor information they did have was so very limited that it's just a shell. The ending being so not there unlike the manga having what it has.. So much more is explained that just isn't; so much more makes sense that doesn't. The reason the anime seems there could be a sequel but there isn't one and the manga can't is because the manga is done but the anime ends so openly...it's sad. Stars being redone has been LONG overdue.

Yeah, can't wait. You can tell the manga fans who have been watching Crystal versus the old!anime fans who have been watching it. Very Happy They wanted a fancied up version of the old anime. We wanted THAT VERSION!

spoiler[And I'm glad the other Senshi aren't gonna get skipped when it comes to an upgrade dagnabbit! Bring on SuperS!hurryplz!] I'm impatient. Anime hyper I've wanted SuperS from the MOMENT they announced Crystal being based on the manga.
