Looks like they aren't settling for anything but perfect for this release.
I wish a certain publisher of the N.A. Sailor Moon DVD/BD releases was the same.

Interesting, didn't know this show had been re licensed, can't imagine the original micro-series would be included with this?

It is, in 4 flavors IIRC:

Original TV Edit/Toonami Version as separate episodes.
Original TV Edit/Toonami Version as a movie.
And the Bilingual movie cut/Production I.G version with Japanese and English audio which I think also has different music.

Yes, there's tons of extras:

-Openings and Endings Collection
-Promos & Trailers Collection
-All Versions of the IGPX Pilot
-Episode 1 Comic-Con Version
-Complete Comic-Con Panel
-Voice Actor Interviews (Legacy - these were conducted around production.)
-Creator Interviews (also around production)
-New Retrospective Interviews with the creator and editor.
-15 Episode Commentaries. (All the old ones from the old release plus a bunch of new ones with one of the creators and historian)
-Tons of Toonami Trailers and Bumpers and stuff.
-I forget what else, but it was really hard to jigsaw it all onto the discs so it fit!
