Universal, Warner, Disney, and Aniplex (aka Sony) in top 5. Now we'll just wait for Fox and Paramount to jump into anime market.
Side note: Not bad, RWBY!

lol how appropriate that I read this news while finishing up watching my import Japanese RWBY Bluray. So glad to see it's selling well in Japan, hopefully this means volume 2 and 3 will get the same treatment!

Congratulations to RWBY reaching second!
Here's hoping they'll be more material of this show coming out in the future.

I'm impressed RWBY made it so high on the list.
It has its flaws but overall is such a heartfelt, action-packed show. I hope this foreshadows good things for it in the future, too.

Congrats to RWBY being a bestseller in Japan! All it takes is having an official anime adaptation and then we are in business!

Wow, I haven't seen people get this excited over something so terribly animated since Dragon Ball Super.

I wish i could be happier about RWBY. Why make good 2D animation when you can string together some action scenes with CG and get a chart topper? Though it does seem like there was much competition for BDs. Usually Anime ranks well in BD sales, while the mainstream animation and kids shows sell better on DVD. They also had to do a bunch of tie-ins and such to get the show that popular. Eventually the Japanese release will catch up to the sluggish episode release schedule and I feel that'll kill much of the momentum.
