While it's very surprising to see such a successful, acclaimed series end so soon, I've got to respect the author for having the integrity not to keep stretching it indefinitely while it was still a hit.

If the author ended on his own instead of getting axed, then it cannot be helped. Also, TV series anime-adaption is gonna be ruled out so I hoped it will at least get OVA. |

I'm shocked a series this popular would end after only four volumes. I was expecting they were waiting until volume five or six to announce an anime, but now it looks like we might not get one at all.

Interesting. The premise for the series does lend itself to being shorter than the usual manga, but I honestly believed that it would be more than 4 volumes. Now, I'm more willing to pick up this series. Seven Seas may get some more of my money...
