I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer this to OPM (too episodic) and My Hero Academia (the superhero stuff is just a facade over a standard Shonen Jump story), though not quite as much as Biscuit Hammer.

Loved Ga-Rei. Loved Ga-Rei:Zero. Loved the Tokyo ESP anime. Too bad it ended on a sort of cliffhanger that will never be resolved due to low sales. Can't wait to the get the manga to see how the rest of the story plays out.

Hmm, I never gave much thought to the white girl nickname. Mainly because...well...she's practically albino. Not something you see everyday, and never gave any thought as to her background.
Anyway, I've loved the manga so far. I enjoyed the show, and decided to check out the manga on a whim. Definitely liking how the manga has unfolded over how they did this story in the anime. Glad I picked it up!
I've also already read the 2nd omnibus, and there is a couple of short chapters centered around Peggy, which I found hilarious! Gotta love that flying penguin.
And, while I've only read comments on future chapters, it seems like the whole thing about Rinka's mother gets explained, but I think we'll be waiting awhile before seeing that story in print.
Something else I love is some of the references to western media in the manga, which were surprisingly not mentioned in the review. In the first volume, we get Wolverine, fat Steve Seagal, and 300's Leonidas. I'm unsure if there were more subtle ones in this volume that I may have missed, but these 3 were obvious. There's also a few in the 2nd omni, but I won't mention what those ones are.
Of course, if you've seen the anime, you already know what those would be.

Robocop this Security Mecha (That also Shoot an CEO on a test run), that Alex Murphy blow up with, is in this Manga
Some Blackwater Company (just different Manga name) also is inside the Manga
and of course.. a Spoiler Big Chest, that Indiana Jones was looking for and found it somehow...
But i get an feeling the Villain of the Anime (This Illusion Guy) has something to do with it, too

I liked GaRei:Zero but I hated Tokyo ESP. I thought it wasn't one of the worst shows I had ever seen, but I thought it was one of the biggest wastes of potential I had ever seen from a series. That and I really didn't find any of the characters all that likeable aside from the Thief (forgot her name) the girl that could teleport (also forgot her name) and Rinka's Dad. (Who basically looked like Wolverine with Magneto's powerset).
That being said I may try out the manga if the story is any different.
