A friend of mine was ask why ANN has no Items for these works. How about it?

Well there ARE manhwa in the encyclopedia but it's in the "Not Anime But Related" section. As for light novels, I don't think there are any on here. The Not Anime But Related section has been taken off for some reason.

I think that manhwa is not indexed in the ANN database because ANN is dedicated to Japanese comics and animation, not Korean, Chinese, or anything else. Here's a little bit of explanation from the FAQ section.

I understand this, but it may be time to change this. Anime has grown to a world wide thing. I just wanted to kick the idea around some.

US-licensed manhwa are constantly being added to the Encyclopedia and release database. They are simply not listed alphabetically.

So, out of curiosity, why are manhwa not list alphabetically? As it stands, it seems extremely difficult to access any manhwa item unless you already know its name. The only way to browse all manhwa that I know of is to scan through the "Add manga I've read" page. |

Manwha is nothing to do with anime you even don't see Korean characters in anime. Maybe Korea needs to make their own manwha based anime because Japan doesn't seem to make it. |
