For the people who have read the series (or atleast vol. 1) do you think I should buy it? I saw the show, and it's amazing.

If you liked the anime then you would probably like the manga as it is the same material. Personally, I would either just watch the anime or read the manga because the story is exactly the same with not even any minor differences that come to mind. The art-style is pretty good, more specifically the character designs. The fights aren't the best drawn though they start to improve around vol. 7.

The manga has a few scenes here and there that were removed from the anime and it doesn't have the filler episodes. Other than that, its pretty much identical.

I prefer the Bleach manga to the anime, actually. Yeah, the anime is really faithful to it so it won't so much surprise you - but it's also more to the point and it's missing lot of the puerile fluff the anime has (like Ishida's sewing frenzies and Kon's side quests). I really like Tite Kubo's art, and some of my favourite character's look/feel much better in the manga (like Renji). So if you have the cash to spare, go for it, you definitely won't regret it.

I would suggest the manga for the same reasons. The manga has more humor, for one thing. I'm not a fan of the anime's adaption of the art, which is probably hard to adapt in the first place.

Though some people argue that leaving out the little scenes that were cut from the anime will end up being detrimental to the upcoming arc after the fillers.

If you're a fan of Ichigo's friends and family, you should definitely read the manga. It fleshes them out more.

One particular scene after the Gran Fisher arc makes it clear he'll be back at some point and that spoiler[he wasn't using his full power]. The only other scene that comes to mind is in the Soul Society arc and hints at things to come from that arc, but it really only makes some things at the end bigger suprises due to less foreshadowing.

I've only read the Viz release of the manga, so I don't know much about the next arc, but the few scenes removed shouldn't have much of an impact.
