Hey! Our Shinobi website is now live!
I’m not sure how many of you might have had the chance to catch it at some of the film festivals it was featured at, but it is GORGEOUS. The way they were able to make the live action fights look just as insane as some of the fights in the Basilisk anime is amazing. It’s developed from the same Kouga Ninja scrolls as the Basilisk anime, so expect something epic, brutal and breathtaking. And now comes the part where I get to be a total fangirl. Yuki Nakama is one of my favorite Japanese actresses. She’s been in a ton of dramas, the most familiar would probably be Gokusen and Trick. I lovelovelove her as Oboro, I’m so used to seeing her in comedic roles, so her Oboro totally blew me away. (ok, fangirl off) Now go! Learn more about the movie! Like how it’s produced by a 110 year old studio, making it the oldest major motion picture studio in Japan. Here’s where to go: http://shinobithemovie.com What’s up now: Story info Character info (including other movies and projects the actors have been in) Staff/credits Video clips Trailer Theatrical and Film Festival release schedule (go see it on the big screen if you can) (The movie’s theme HEAVEN is by Ayumi Hamasaki. Woo! I needed one last fan moment *^^*) |
