The prediction of konami spinning out a Metal Gear Pachinko was never a matter of "if" but a matter of when.

Pachinko art is often very good, which just makes the situation a bit more painful at times as it means the official zombification of a franchise.

Sega isn't doing well with its Pachinko so hopefully Konami will open its eyes once that division starts going downhill

It's like telling a smoker who just "quit" that he'd take it right back up again in no time, waiting a while, and watching it all unfold.

While Konami may not be dead financially, their glory days from their earlier years are long gone. If Sega is of any indication, I don't see this pachinko/pachi-slot deal working out that well.
