Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' First-Ever Comic Adaptation Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS to be Serialized in the Online Manga Label "Comic Alive +" from Dec. 13th

Tokyo JP, KADOKAWA CORPORATION (https://group.kadokawa.co.jp/global/) has started serializing Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS (illustrated by Asano, and written by Bartosz Sztybor, CD PROJEKT RED) in the online manga label Comic Alive + on December 13th (Fri), 2024 at 5 p.m, JST.
In addition to the Japanese version, KADOKAWA will distribute the Polish, Italian, German, French, Spanish, and traditional Chinese versions in collaboration with regional partners*.
*The English version is scheduled to be published by Dark Horse Comics LLC in a paperback format.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which was released in 2022, is an anime series set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, an open-world game that was developed by CD PROJEKT RED and has sold over 30 million units worldwide. This anime series ignited a whirlwind of excitement, transcending the boundaries between game fans and anime fans. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS, the first comic series based on this anime, serves as a prequel to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners featuring the highly popular siblings Pilar and Rebecca as its protagonists. The comic portrays not only the comical and energetic actions of the siblings but also the compelling and finely woven story that sheds light on the sibling's dreams and upbringing, which were not explored in the anime series. Furthermore, a new character, the mysterious man known as Safran makes an appearance, driving the story into the realm of MADNESS.
The story is an entirely new and original work written by Bartosz Sztybor, who was in charge of the screen story for the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The artwork will be drawn by Asano, known for the comic version of the anime series BNA.
