The design is so darn cool I preordered it without even having seen the movie that it's from... I never do that. (^.^;)

The Arhan price is ridiculous! Most expensive figma to this date.

That powersuit must be as fragile as fudge, though.
Angela sure has a cute rear end; don't know if I should go for the Phat Company figure lol

I still can't believe this managed to pick up an award for anything really, just nothing about it really stood out to me aside from the fanservice and some action stuff. When you have a film marketing waifu figurine merchandise just....yeah I don't know, hard to take it terribly seriously, either those awards are a joke or they must have been basing it entirely off of technical merits. Good thing the Seiun's got it right with Yamato 2199.

Frontier Setter is so adorable! I wish it weren't a model kit though... I have no trouble building models and am an avid Gunpla fan, but I would've liked a regular figure instead to get the finer details without extra work such as panel lining and painting.

I knew I couldn't be the only one who thought this.
The fact that "Balzac" sounds like "ball sack" doesn't help either.
I'm a fan of EFP, but facts are facts.

All anime practically sells figurine merchandise. Even non-anime films and TV shows do to.
I thought it was a very good movie.

I originally thought the asking price for the movie was a shade high ($50 m/l at RightStufAnime) but after watching it for the 10th time straight through since receipt, hell, this was an excellent decision. I've read some reviews about the show and agree some of the drawings in scenes could've been better but I sure relate to the dialogue shared between Dingo and Angela about working conditions in real world versus digital enlightment. I also enjoyed the musical score played during the fight scenes.
As for figurines I've pre-ordered a few of the several versions of Angela offered (besides "dat ass" she's a visual treat overall) and am currently trying to find a proxy who will preorder the figma version that offers the closed lips frowny face faceplate Exclusive for Japan residents only, not the rest of us (curse you, GoodSmile Online Japan). Am hoping someone will produce a PVC version of Dingo (probably appear as a GK only, lol). They make a great couple (like Bogey and Bacall).
Have to agree with earlier posters about the price for Angela's mecha. Pass. Don't know if that 1 will ever get bargain binned.

Phat ruined it, Angela in anime dont have saggy boobs. The figma version looks better than figure ver and anime accurate too.
