Color image looks good as expected. I know this manga will be great.

Loving the color preview. I'm a sucker for wings, and the latest seeming trend of angel-themed literature has gotten me terribly excited for a manga along the same vein.
Fingers crossed for this one!

I missed that artwork so much! Can't wait for Platinum End to start. Hope Viz does not delay in picking this up for English release.

Okay, what was I doing that made me not know about the Bakuman. prequel until now!?
On the main subject, I do look forward to yet another series from Ohba and Obata!

I hope it's another "mystery" (detective) story a la Death Note only with an Angel twist this time rather than Devil. I find modern day fiction much more enjoyable when it is bound by realism with only a single supernatural element, rather than fully unrealistic stories like most Shonen manga's are.

Very very hyped, especially with that art. Anyone else read Hikaru no Go? Obata's art is so visually pleasing to look at.

Platinum End might be the first brand new manga series I'm looking forward to reading the first chapter of since Kouta Hirano's Drifters.
I look forward to the manga eventually getting an English license release and an anime series in a few years, maybe by 2018 or 2019?
Probably never going to happen, but I still want to see a 12-13 episode Ral Ω Grad anime series made sometime.

obatas art might be awsome, but ral grad, and all you need is kill for that matter, were weak, stories, more on the lines of promoting their multimedia counterparts. thats why theylle never get an anime adaptation, this on the other hand might, beceause it has ohba, like death note and bakuman.
