Ah, too bad it looks like that the game developers weren't able to get the Volkswagen license for Bumblebee. I know, for a while, Volkswagen didn't want to be associated with a warring robot franchise because of Volkswagen's, shall we say, unfortunate origins, but I know that Takara finally got an official Volkswagen license for Bumblebee for one of those premium high-quality Transformers adult collectible series.
I presume the Volkswagen Beetle license was for that specific toy only and doesn't extend to Bumblebee across the franchise. |

Tenchi: Yes, because putting your name on a cartoon robot's way worse than being an enabler of real-life cartoon robots.
Anyway, Bumblee's kicking more ass than he ever did in the actual show. |

I'm sick of Bumblebee being forced down fan's throats. He was the most pathetic of the G1 series characters, and just because Spielberg/Bay stupidly decided for him to be a major player in the live action trash fliks it now means we can never get away from him >=(

I agree that Bumblebee is an overused character 'shoved down our throats' despite there being absolutely nothing special about him, and while I don't personally know anyone who loved him, especially when compared to the a roster of cooler characters around him like Grimlock, Jazz, and Optimus Prime himself, I can't honestly say anyone hated him either. But he was far from pathetic, especially compared to the likes of Huffer and Gears. And if you want to bring up later characters, at least he wasn't Wheelie, Holi, or post-movie Grimlock (what the hell did they do to him?!). The less we talk about those awful live-action movies, the better. The film series is a sick joke. With regards to the game itself, it seems way too linear and basic. More so than WFC and FOC actually, just go around bashing Decepticons and stop their evil-doing. I still think to this day the Armada game on the PS2 is the best game because it allows free roaming in huge areas and allows the player to modify the characters weapons and abilities for various terrains and situations. |

I will agree with Bumble being forced lately but he's had some great moments. I really like his Prime/RiD2015 character. Would I like them to bring some older characters back for a change, like Hot Rod/Rodimus? Of course but if the show keeps up changing things up for him like Prime/RiD? I wouldn't mind. I'm really looking forward to this. From what I've heard of impressions, it sounds really good. The fact they're trying to get back most of the original cast is fantastic too.
That's because its a G1 game. G1 was always fairly simplistic. |

It works for an episodic TV series (at least season 2-4 were while season 1 had a much stronger continuity), but this is a different medium. And for a full studio-produced video game that we're supposed to pay 40 bucks or more for, this simplicity is if too underwhelming unless it's a downloadable game that only costs a few bucks.
But if this game does end up delivering more to the table, I hope they get Wally Burr to do Jazz, he stood in for Scatman Crothers in one episode and it was indistinguishable. At least that's according to this video |

Oh yeah, Nazi origins -> cartoon robot wars is really stretched logic, I'm just saying the reason why Bumblebee is a Camaro in the live-action movies. I remember Michael Bay wanted Bumblebee to be a Volkswagen Beetle but Volkswagen wouldn't give Paramount and Hasbro permission because they didn't want to be associated with "war". |

The sick joke is people complaining about the movies still after all these years. |

Meh, I really don't care, it works. Although not too unique he's been an enjoyable character in his recent incarnations. Also his MP-21 is awesome. Still hoping for Springer... |

Keep thinking that, but the fact you take offense to a sh*t movie series being bashed is sad. |

Why would I take offense to a bunch whiny and excessively butthurt Transformers fans not liking the movies. Instead of simply mocking them for still clinging to a set of overreactive and redundant opinions on the film series. The movies are flawed but nowhere as bad as they've been made out to be. |
