Another season of fast talking, tennis, and comedy gags? I'm ready.

I somehow get the feeling that this show's never going to end. And that's a good thing.

Serious question, is this anime worth watching? Barely started season 1 and it just kinda feels off putting for me to watch. Does anyone know when it starts to get good or funny?

It's pretty much the same. Finish season 1 and make up your mind whether or not to watch more seasons; it's only two minutes an episode.

If you don't like the show from the beginning, then don't bother. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this, but don't expect a really deep plot or anything.

It gets quite serious from the third season onwards. Once they start introducing all the plot elements, the story becomes darker and deeper. The current arc is probably one of the most gripping anime has seen.

True, in the third season the psychological aspects of the show really kick in. The nightmarish gore and the agony from characters involved in multiple plot lines, juxtaposed with the innocence and happiness of the first 2 seasons makes this show truly thrilling.

Well if your not enjoying the first season I'd say just stop watching it. It gets worse as the seasons go on.

The dark twists in the story don't come out of nowhere either. The tragic murder of spoiler[Yucatan] expertly foreshadows the horrific events to come.

And of course, another new season of Teekyuu is announced. At this rate, it's not going to end until season 10!

Wimbledon? I thought it was the Monaco Grand Prix… Wink

No knock on anyone that doesn't like Teekyu, but if you didn't like the first season or any other episode you've watched, you are more than likely not going to like any other part of it, so don't wrack your head over it. I say this even as a big fan of the show: it and its style is not for everyone. It's just one of those type of shows.

One of the best, and most remarkable, things about the show is that despite its rapid rapid-fire gags and dialogue, it has still managed to stay fresh and consistently funny. Some of the third and fifth seasons weren't quite as laugh-out-loud when they started off, but they managed to become so as time went on.

I think this announcement got read incorrectly. Earth Star Dream is the name of a seiyuu unit that is NOT comprised of the main cast of Teekyu: a few of them had cameo roles in today's episode of the 5th season. I'm not sure if that will actually be the title of the theme song.
