Looking forward to this. The PV looks decent and the premise is promising. Fall is going to nice with this and the second season of Kindaichi.

Amusing at how Ohtsuka, one of the older Black Jacks, is now the narrator.

Hopefully this can do what sports anime does - make everything seem awesome no matter mundane it is.

I can already see that i wont like he, he looks more of a tragic punk as bitch than the baddass rouge doctor we know, and i can see that the female sidekick is going to be hellishly annoying, Pinoko herself was annoying but she was a small girl (well age wise not, but her circumstances were special) so she could get away with it.

Wow, Black Jack is looking very bishy, I very much approve. It's also great to finally know whose writing this series, and surprise it's the great Ryousuke Takahashi. Hopefully when this series airs someone grabs it for streaming.

Ahh. I change mind about the whole Doogie Howser/House comparison.
Shirtless Black Jack is HAWT!!!
Also: Does anyone think there should've been a "Pinoko" in this???

Well, this is interesting. Black Jack is even more "bi-shounen" than one can expect.

Hey, in the original manga Black Jack performs surgery on himself in the middle of the desert while coyotes attack him. That's pretty action packed! Though the story behind the way he looks is he stepped on an undiscovered landmine from WWII which killed his Mother and ripped apart his body. A genius surgeon saved his life and is a large part of why he because a doctor.
I'm not sure about the bishy look but I am still hyped for this. Though the thorns part at the beginning seemed like a bit much.

Black Jack has always been a bishonen. It's just that the bishonen looks have changed over time.
