I'm sure they will be many questions about a sequel. I know I want one real bad.

I just have one question which I'm sure can't be answered right now. Will this interview take place at New York Comic Con?

Jerk-y as it would sound, I would like to know what happened with the show's budget/produciont, given how high-profile they were making it out to be. I don't mean that to be asked as a legit question, given how prickly it is, but I was honestly stunned by how often it the characters looked off-model and how unpolished and stilted the production seemed a number of times. The ambition and story were there, but the execution was very disappointing.

Couldn't agree more. The production was shoddy as f**k.

Here's an interesting one: Were it to be English dubbed, is there any specific talent you would want for the 2 eads?

^I can't imagine many Japanese being invested or even remotely knowledgeable about the American dub world. Afaik, the creators that have specific requests for English dub actors are the exception rather than the norm.

That's why I meant as being an interesting/unusual question. Heck, I would be surprised to find any case that a creator says something like, "Please put [English dub voice talent name] in this [title]".

However, I do recall in an interview that Jessica Calvello was chosen by Go Nagai to play Cutie Honey.

a) Did you feel any pressure working on the series to handle the animation and design of the planes, considering that it would attract plane enthusiasts?

b)what are the pressures of directing an entire series, and how does it compare to working under a director with a clearly set artistic vision like Simbo?
