Heh, I knew it. That ending just didn't feel right after episode 13 and I recall reading somewhere that it was planned for a 2 cour anyways.

Yeah, as the article mentions it was announced for 26 episodes before it even aired.
I'm expecting it to resume in October, as that's when most split cours air. |

This was obvious. It wouldnt be Fafner if it wasnt 24-26 episodes.

Well the 13th episode didn't even try to wrap up anything so this seems obvious. By the 8th I checked somewhere and saw this being listed just as 13 total, and thought that there was no way they could finish everything in just five more. Even the pacing of the show so far seemed to argue against that.

Good because there was no way this was ever going to be wrapped up to my satisfaction in 13 episodes. That's a really horrible place to stop though.

thnkyou, even if the 13th is ep end, still a better ending becos they leave lot of gaps for future ova or movie, instead of any rush ending plot which ruin the entire series
