Ah, so it's another Dynasty Warriors clone?

Well, I suppose there's a fanbase for that type of game since they keep being brought here.

I don't own a ps4, so I won't be able to pick up the game.

But if you see Togashi on there while questing, ask him what his plans for HxH are?

i think the last one was Dragon Quest VIII (PS2).

It was my first DQ game and also my last.

I heard Omega Force is working on the game. It will be another Dynasty Warriors clone for sure-- gameplay wise

hack & slash-- one vs XX enemies

I guess the PS4 did well so DQ series is coming back to Playstation.

I actually think there's more likelihood that the 3DS release of Dragon Quest VII would be released than Dragon Quest X (and at this point it seems hard be very optimistic about DQVII's chance of getting an English release).

Since Dragon Quest X is an MMORG, Square-Enix (or whoever chose to publish it) would also have to pay for the servers that would entail. Another strike against it is that DQX is a Wii/Wii U game, and there's very few publishers willing to put games out for Wii U because there isn't a big enough userbase that they'd make any profit. A 3DS port of DQX came out in Japan last fall, but from what I understand, it looks like it must have been plagued with issues or something, because on amazon.co.jp it's sitting at a 2 out of 5 rating with 461 reviews.

Really happy that DQ Heroes is making it out here. I'll happily buy it and hope it encourages more DQ release in English in the future.
