Hmm, I guess this will be a filler arc? Strange though since this is the first time I've heard of it. I wonder what it will be about.

Maybe it's related to the Shin Jidai Project, with Kishinoto providing original script/story for Studio Pierre to animate.

So will they stop the war arc at a cliffhanger and do this new arc or finish adapting the rest of the manga and do this arc afterwards. Also, will this be considered canon or filler?

I wonder how the anime only watchers in Japan feel about this with the series going in filler in the middle of a big arc. I'm guessing that this will last a few months. spoiler[(but once the arc is over they can adapt the last 30-40 chapters they have left.])
I'm not surprised since Naruto's pacing has been fickled for awhile. |

More like Naruto: Clone Wars. A block of filler between the end of the war and the last movie. |

In the past they either used a flashback or just flat out didn't acknowledge it and the episodes were standalone like the Chakra arc. I actually like all the filler in Naruto, so I'm looking forward to it. I like the usual method they do of Naruto picking a team of two or three of his friends from Konoha and maybe their allies in the Sand/Cloud based on their strengths and weaknesses for that certain mission and seeing new team dynamics we never usually do. Plus it has Fu, and she's awesome. |

Hmm, I thought it was supposed to be chuunin exam flash backs? Well, just hurry up and end, dammit <.< as much as I like Naruto I want to move it to my "completed" list, and then I'll be willing to accept a thousand OVAs or spin-off series in return.

I'm guessing it's a stand alone arc like Kakashi Chronicals or the Power episodes and I rekon it's going to take place between the end of Naruto and the start of Naruto Shippuden as it includes Fū and Shippuden era characters but Naruto is dressed like he was in the original series

Getting greedy I guess. I suppose that's not entirely unexpected with only one season worth of manga content remaining. This is the same show that had nearly two years of filler episodes before finally moving on to Shippuden. Hopefully this filler arc doesn't drag nearly as long.

I'm fine with there being another filler arc, but I hope it's not too long. I'm rewatching Naruto atm so it'll probably take a while before I get there anyway.

Oh please! Another filler arc is coming. Can't they hurry up and finish the remaining chapters needed to adapted. At this point, it's gonna ruined enjoyment. I'll just pass over it.
If their goal is to make extra money while saving up budget & animation for later canon episodes, then it's win/win situation for everybody. |
