Now this is an article I thought I'd never see. I'm glad, though. Time to read it all again from the beginning! Viz, are you ever going to continue releasing this series?

Yeah, could someone who's at AX/Comic Con please ask them why we didn't get in volume 12?

This makes me happy even though (a) from what I remember, volume 11 of the manga basically made zero sense and (b) I sort of doubt Viz is going to be all over releasing volume 12 of a series that is old enough that most current manga and anime fans were probably just learning to read when it came out. : / (While I realize that there are plenty of of older fans, I don't know if there are enough to make the sales worthwhile. I feel like a creepy old lady any time I go into the manga section of a bookstore, since everyone else there is like 13.) Even so, it's nice to see a series I once loved started up again. The new art style seems very nice, too. Viz, if you do release it in English, I will happily buy it if just for the nostalgia factor!
And hey, maybe this could start a trend. CLAMP, take a page out of Matsushita's book, okay, and finish all those manga you forgot about!

I'm not really a fan, but I'm glad to hear she's finally getting back to it.

Well, since they only have one series at the moment and they also said in the past that they get bored doing one series at a time, maybe they will pick up an old series, who knows....

Yeah! I quite liked this manga when i picked it up years ago. I only read/bought through vol 8 since the last arc was incomplete. I'd love to get back into this series if VIZ would release it!

Oh man, what an awesome thing to wake up to! I can finally find out where Kurikara sent Hisoka for his trial
(note that the above is based on the final chapters, not anything in volumes 11 or 12)

YAAAY!! This is so exciting. Hopefully, Viz will continue through with the series. It has been quite a while since they released vol. 11, though.

This is AWESOME news! I just hope someone picks up the rest of the series and brings it to the US.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<----This is how happy I am.
I figured that it would be left unfinished forever. I am SO happy that she decided to continue this series! It would have been a huge shame to left it alone.
Thank you, Yoko Matsushita!

Ummm... I guess I'm the only one who thinks her new art style is well...ugly? What happened to the beautiful details, gorgeous eyes, and men who looked like men (Tsuzuki looks very effeminate in that pic, even if he was girly before he still looked like a tall pretty man) There is only so much a mangaka can change their style in eight years and that looks nothing like it. Even the other oneshots released later were lacking in the original pretty artwork. I mean I'm happy she's continuing it but really it looks like someone else is drawing it.

I agree, the art looks vastly different.
But I'd argue that a mangaka's style can (and in a few cases has) changed rather drastically in only a year or so, 8 years of not drawing can change like crazy.
I think most of us are just happy for the story continuation, even if it does look more then a bit different in art.

Wait.... you mean, the cover is of THEM? *goes back to look* I see "Yami no matsuei" splashed across it there, but I honest to god though "why didn't they give them the cover?" when I read the article, it looks that different ._o I'm glad she's picking the series up and all, but the amount that the character designs have changed is really weird. It's like a show went off the air for a while and came back with all different actors.
