Awesome. I actually plan to get the novels sometimes this year. Kinda surprised this also got an adaptation but more the better.

Unlike the other entry for Noitamina next quarter, this one looks like something to sink one's teeth into.

Very, very interesting staff list, and very, very interesting synopsizes for the stories. The people and studios chosen to do those films seem like the type up noitaminA's alley and seem compatible with the films they are being paired up with. I hope they get licensed as a package deal for a North America release. It should also be interesting to see what the budget will look like with these films…

Three movies is pretty amazing. The staff for Harmony is especially interesting. I'm down to check them out (manglobe was an unexpected choice though.).

I've got high hopes for these films. It's really nice to see Takashi Nakamura and Shukou Murase directing again.

Shukou Murase directing something again? Hell yes!
Looking forward to all three, the descriptions sound great.

"Empire of Corpses" was an unfinished work by Itoh, completed only after his death by Enjoe Toh, author of "Self-Reference Engine" and a personal friend of Itoh's. According to the Japanese Wiki, only the first 30 pages of this were actually written by Itoh himself.
It does sound like an interesting combination, because it's hard to think of two writing styles more different than those two.
