If I had my way for an anthropomorphic anime, it be a harem where 1 guy is shacked up with 7 girls representing the Nihon Ken (6 native Japanese dog breeds) and the Tosa dog. The Akita would be the lead girl (Either her or the Tosa girl would be the bustiest) while the Shiba is the loli or flat-chested girl.

In theory, the basic anthropomorphized months concept sounds interesting... But I am just so tired of idols.

Angel Tales comes pretty close with its harem roster of various archetypes of the main character's re-incarnated pets. 
And I wouldn't be surprised if there already was one that fit your description down to a t, of the more unsavory kind... |

I hadn't heard about this, but it looks interesting.
Definitely prefer the female designs over the male ones, they look so cute. |

Why do only half of the months have female characters? So my birth month of July only gets one character?
 And I don't even like his design that much...well, regardless of that, I always love it when Japan anthropomorphizes stuff, so I'm looking forward to this. 
As for which ones are my favorite designs...hmm...for the girls, definitely Kisaragi Ai, but I'm having a hard time picking for the guys...probably Yayoi Haru? |
