As someone who currently has a sweet cat sitting on my chest, purring away happily, I'm so glad that more cats will be getting some love and affection! And perhaps a new home :3

My dad and older brothers hate cats. I'd love to take any one of them to one of these cat cafes just to show them that cuteness is okay.

I have to tell my friends, I live in SF and my other friends with in other parts of the bay area. It wouldn't be the first cat cafe we went to, we went to one in Japan too...

Hopefully one is set up in the Midwest someday. There's a huge amount of cats that need homes around here.

While this is cute, being a dog person means that I'm naturally biased to favor a dog cafe. Heck, a dog cafe where I can hang out with some really rare and obscure breeds is awesome to me.

I like the idea of a dog cafe, too, but never heard of one. I imagine it has to do with the logistics of having to walk a bunch of dogs. Never owned a dog or a cat, so I would love to hang out at one of these cafes! All the play, none of the work.
