After glasslip I don't really care about what pa works makes.

Thanks Crunchyroll for coming through and getting this promising-looking title. For some reason I keep thinking that NISA would want SHIROBAKO for home video release.

The staff is far more important the studio.

I know, but they really did a bad job with that show. It's difficult to overlook that association.

Every studio has some pretty terrible stuff after awhile.
Anyway, this has Tsutomu Mizushima directing it, so I've got pretty high expectations for it.

I'll just wait for the first episode review. Glasslip really greatly disappointed me, so I am not very convinced to watch this one.

Every animation studio has done good work and bad work; Gonzo, Kyoto Animation, JC Staff, all of them. I think most of you are giving the studios a bit too much credit for the show's quality. The production committee and the actual staff have far more to do with that, since they actually control the final outcome. They aren't likely American animation studios, such as Dreamworks or Disney, where they have complete control and ownership over the product. Most of their writers and directors aren't even permanent staff members and are contracted for particular projects.

In fact, P.A did a series of bad shows from the last quarters. Like RDG and Glasslip. But well, it's so like them to pick a typical slice-of-life material. I'm just hoping they won't make themselves slip into further downfall.

Japanese animation studios are not Hollywood. Success and failure of the show lies on people who makes the show, not just the company. Blaming anime studio alone is just lazy association.
