This is a great review of the book, but hasn't it been reviewed before? I remember reading a review and that's what made me eventually read this manga. It is hard to read at times, but I truly could not stop. I definitely agree the ending was too long, but everything else was great. It was also refreshing to see an art style I rarely see. I also watched the movie. Not as unsettling, but the lead did a great job as Lily.

Carlo did a short review when he was writing RTO. I think we pretty much said the same thing. Smile

I think I agree with Mr. Santos' review more, albeit brief. Edgier josei certainly isn't going to be for everyone. But, Helter Skelter was much more of a page turning experience for me and nowhere nearly as disturbing a read as Pink. I'm sad that Okazaki never got to write more about Liliko.
