It would have been annoying if we didn't get a second season with the way they left the first season off. After what happened with that Chinese site though I started reading the manga. I can already see it is miles better than the anime and I'm not very far yet! I still really like the anime though, and I'm going to make the effort now to read it all before January.

Its a good news though it doesn't change the fact that the first season was butchered.

Hardly a surprise for me but I'm glad it's actually confirmed as legit now.

Eh, not really. From an anime-viewer only perspective, it was a good show.

For the first season they should have stopped at the beginning of the Aogiri Arc and had the second season begin with that arc and take its time with it.

This is why they should only do v/n & novel adaptations or go for noitamina. Damn manga adapations never work. Never.

Yes, that's clearly why most anime adaptations come from manga. -_-' Also, V/N adaptations aren't always that great either.

That doesn't change the fact that from someone who read the source material - the anime is not the best adaption of it. OP never said the anime wasn't good (imo it's okay, maybe slightly above average) but that it didn't do the manga justice.
And they're right, the manga is better. This isn't always true and there are series where I'd rewatch the anime over rereading the manga, but in this case it is.

I haven't watched it yet. But at the rate they're going, anyone think they will cover the entire 14 vols in two seasons? Or would it take three?
