The psp version was the best FF game since Crisis Core. Not counting Flying Fairy or Birth by Sleep. Please be excited.

At this point, I'm pretty damn convinced that Vita fans are THE most annoying console fans. "X game announced for Y console." "No vita, no buy!" "Z game announced for Vita" "Where's X game for Vita!?" "X game announced for Vita." "Too late, I already bought X game for Y console." I was almost inclined to pick up a Playstation TV next month, but honestly...if these are the people I'll be playing online with, f**k that. |

Can't really blame them when type 0 was a psp game fully intended with the handheld in mind. Not to mention the fake Vita announcement, that was a nice slap in the face for the fans.
And dont forget the part where the localization was all but complete and SE never bothered to release it. |

1-There was no "fake announcement." There a single word in a single blog post, which was edited out roughly five minutes after going out because it was a mistake. An accident. A typo. But leave it to entitled Vita Elite to obsessively refresh the PS blog and actively look to be offended by something. Even as every other blog, news outlet, official press release, and trailer all confirm PS4/XBOne. Cause, you know, Vita. 2-No, it wasn't. Type-0 entered production as Final Fantasy Agito XIII as a mobile title. However about a third of the way into development they released that no phone could actually handle the game, so they moved to the next best thing, the PSP since it had a similar framework to Crisis Core. 3-Two words (technically?): PSP. 2011. Golly gee, I do wonder why they never released it here despite a near complete localization... You remember that one film that was released on VHS mere days after the Blu-ray format was unveiled? Neither do I. 4-Just shut up and watch. |

Typo or not, the fact it said Vita and then it was redacted, makes it a fake announcement. Typo or not, it was false, which is fake. It was especially upsetting because Shahid tweeted about it as well and essentially revealed he isn't the savior to the Vita that he makes himself out to be.
There are still PSP games being localized by US companies, there's really no reason Square Enix couldn't finish what they had pretty much out the door. Examples, Black Rock Shooter and Brandish. You may not remember, but I remember. Pepridge farm also remembers. |
