A FPS in the Japanese top ten? What.
Also seems square have finally found the right platform for Dragon Quest X, after it's relatively poor performance on Wii, Windows and Wii U. Now how about a western release? |

Uh... mate, it's been like that for quite a while. FPS are way more popular in Japan than most people think. Especially Call Of Duty, Battlefield and Halo, which have been monster hits in Japan for the last few years. |

As Second Fire Shadow said, Japanese gamers taste in FPS has been starting to change a little bit. It's not only FPS, other western games have seen similar success in Japan, I think the stigma against western games have started to go down for the last few years. It's generally best not to look at positions in Japanese weekly charts, you have to look at how much it sold. Saying something is #1 when it only sold 10K copies is not much praise. Japan has very slow weeks sometimes.
Titanfall sold under 9K. That's pretty horrible for a AAA game. Not really cause for celebration. |

bad sells for Sengoku Musou, anything lower than 300K copies in Japan is basically nothing.

Monster is a an over statement, but Ghost did 200,000 in it's first week.

Ghost is probably well over 300,000 as well with BF4 probably over 200,000. You've had games like Watch Dogs and The Last of Us do about 200,000 or close to it. Of course GTAV has done over 500,000. Not monster sales, but decent. Especially for the Japanese market. There is for sure a decent sized audience for these western games over there. |

Somwhow, I doubt that. I'm not sure PS4 sales in Japan can rebound. |
