I won't hold out hope that it's the case but if Togashi has decided to just take breaks like these instead of those dreadfully long ones that last around a year I'm all for it.

Can someone tell me why this is considered news? It's just going on a one week break. There was a chapter in issue #35, there won't be a chapter in issue #36, and it will be back for the double issue #37-38.

If it was missing more than one issue, then I understand if they felt writing an article about it.

EDIT: This article is wrong. It won't be announced on Monday that it will be going on a break. It was announced this past Monday that there won't be a chapter this coming Monday.

Basically it's only a one week break.

I was wondering why I hadn't seen this week's chapter yet. Thanks for the heads up and correction.

If Togashi is trying the Oda Method and taking a break every few weeks, I can see why he's doing it.

I don't think Jump would bring the manga back from a 26-month-long break if there weren't dozens of chapters in the can, so I assume these short breaks are a way to postpone the next big hiatus as much as possible.
