INB4 people try to defend "Battle of Gods" as a terrible film as if that's an objective fact or something. This movie is going to be great.

A little late for that one. This movie can be great sure, but Battle of Gods was pretty abysmal especially with the expectations of a Toriyama penned continuation and open book for more continuations that it had. I don't find the most comedic approach to be the primary issue, but all of the inconsistencies for power balance, how the Super Saiyan God form is reached and generally poor attempt at extending something that would have ended at least passably well for a Shonen Jump work with dozens less volumes printed. |

I don't see how any would see how the comedic approach was a big issue in the movie -- I mean, wasn't that what Dragon Ball was in it's youth?
So, in a way, isn't Battle of Gods sort of like a return to DBZ's true roots, while still having content for fans of the DBZ stuff? |

Some of you, really love clichés don't you? I for once loved Battle of the Gods because it was different than all his other movies.
I was getting tired of the same thing over and over again, it was too predictable what was going to happen. In Battle of the Gods there was some cliché but not as much. |
