so in the end it will only have 4 volumes?
oh well, not gonna complain, I was also planning on importing the novels so the less volumes the better for my wallet I guess (I wasn't even interested in the manga at first honestly, it was just going to be a plus because a lot of people were talking about how good it was and such) but I guess it's a shame for those who won't be able to follow the novels and won't be able to know how the story continues :/ |

One if my greatest hopes right now is that the light novel gets picked up by Yen On. Who knows? I'll definitely be planning to support it through buying the SAO novels (and probably Haruhi if I end up liking the anime) in the meantime.

The light novels currently have 7 volumes and the series is still ongoing.
They are only canceling the manga series, since most of the time it's just around to promote the light novels or piggy back onto to the Anime ratings and cash in. But unless it's a big hit/spin off series etc. these tie in manga titles usually get axed real quick. |

I am upset the manga ended so now I have to rely on the anime to find out what happens next. Unless any of you know how to read the light novels.

I pretty sad that the manga is ending, i honestly loved it better than the anime. Due to the fact that they butchered the first arc with kagetane. I hope at the very least will complete the arc.
