Wow! AL is aiming for both English and French dubs now? Awesome! But I wonder when they'll announce the cast for Mai Mai Miracle?

There is a French wing of Anime Limited called @anime (I understand that Andrew Partridge is fluent in French and has worked with a number of French-based companies in the past - he worked for Beez, consulted for Kaze and Anime Limited has partnered with Wakanim for streaming)

The MMM dub only happened due to the Kickstarter so it is going to take longer. The Patema dub has been planned from the get-go so was already underway.

Ah, I see. I'm sure AL's French branch can dub it well, even though from what I hear most French dubbed anime are notoriously bad, even more so than most American dubs. That's just what I've heard from other people, though.

Damn that's another record. Wow. Still not holding my breath for the US release. Later 2014 could mean anything.

I'm still waiting to find out who the cast is for 009 Re Cyborg and that was licensed quite a while ago.

Anything with Stephanie Sheh and Richard Epcar, I HAVE to see. Fantastic cast!

According to AL when I asked about the US on FB, GKIDS has the US license that's why we couldn't participate. Oh boy, get excited blu am ray case and slipcover.

Agreed, two of my favorites, hopefully we'll see a more specific US release date eventually!

Fantastic cast, Patrick Seitz, Cassandra Lee and Michael Sinterniklaas are also really good (been hearing plenty of great Seitz roles on Toonami thanks to OP etc., which is cool).

Will these Anime Limited dubs carry over to the US once the titles are licensed over here? I'm especially curious about 009 RE:Cyborg.

I'd imagine GKIDS would port over the dub for the US home release and not go through the expense to create another one? As far 009 AL was waiting on Funimation to fit the bill and produce a dub to port over to the UK home release.

Wrong. Anime Limited was paying for the dub on that one, as they licensed it long before FUNimation did. They're getting NYAV to dub it, just like they have for all their other dubs.
