Well... that's unexpected.

I haven't watched it yet, but it seems like your average herpy derpy harem anime, which really doesn't fit well with the rest of NISA's catalogue. Either i'm terribly mistaken about the premise of this show, or NISA is branching out. Guess i'll have to check out the first episode now.

TBH, I was hoping for NIS to license Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii, but I guess that's not happening now Sad.

It still might but i doubt it...NIS seems pretty passive on licensing...which is why I'm so confused about this one.

Them getting NagiAsu was a really awesome move since it was so great at the end but based on ep 1 this show is pretty average premise and everything. spoiler[i would've been far more interested if she actually did die] I'll still give it a shot of course...but I highly doubt it will be memorable at all

At least they're going a properly simplified name to the unwieldy Japanese title.

I also think this is an interesting choice for NISA. We'll see if this represents the start of a trend or not.

The sense of "flag" used here is still a hopelessly idiomatic one, though, isn't it?

I actually don't care about this show, the premise sounds so haremy and cliché. I'm keeping my hopes of NISA licensing Kyosugiga though, after all they did licensed The Eccentric Family and Nagi no Asukara (very smart moves IMO).

Now they just need to announce Atelier Escha and Logy and I'll be pleased.

after seeing the first episode this show might be good.

it has potential but I fear it could also end up bad like how noukome got really stupid; good idea, bad execution.

Yes, licensing the lowest selling anime in Japan is always a smart move...

It is but just look at the key art: In the show they're all depicted as real actual little "flags". So you can't change it even if you wanted to localize it.

I am not unhappy about this. I watched the first episode and liked it, so now I can stop watching the stream and wait for it to come out from NISA. The advantage of this is that then I don't have to go into the anime discussion thread where that moron Changen46 is already making comments based on the source material - without using spoiler tags, of course. Rolling Eyes

I would agree it seems like a somewhat atypical NISA pickup, although based on the first episode alone I wouldn't conclude it was an "average herpy derpy harem." Time will tell, I guess.
