wow..this going up FAR slower than I expected. Probably because everyone BESIDES Yasumi Matsuno are unknown...nobodies. I just hope the fact that the game is being made FIRST for mobile doesnt make the other versions suck

Shame Matsuno Kickstarter wasn't Project Phoenix, which had a decent mix of Japanese and western staff, but here it's just a western staff who's experience has been with mobile. Not much faith here. Would explain why this is doing worse than Project Phoenix did.

The only thing I don't like about stuff like this is that while the game play and depth may feel like a Final Fantasy Tactics like game the game won't have that unique Japanese feel because of the fact that most of the people making it are not Japanese.
It's not just this game either. There have been a few of these well known Japanese dev teams with a team largely made up of western people and most of them have this looks and feel that just feels like the generic medieval stuff that seems to be spit in the west so much not that Japan doesn't have that stuff to as Dark Souls and Dragons Dogma showed as much.
But personally I liked the fact that older classics like Final Fantasy Tactics had a uniquely Japanese feel and this new thing here seems like it will lack that based on most of the concept art shown. Still I certainly like to see it succeed and be a great game but still it will lack that certain something for me.

Well, the good thing about this is that he'll be able to do what he wants tp without having the pressure from a studio he's doing work for. This is more than likely going to be the way to get more creative projects funded without the middle man. Glad to see Matsuno back in the saddle.
