Where's the compare tool? Don't tell me it's gone. Confused

The root php is still there, but now the title/people pages lack respective query links.

I noticed this and had to dive into archive.org to get the links.

You can still do comparisons manually

To add an anime to a comparison, put the ID# at at the end of this URL:

animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/compare.php?comp=a&add=

Same for people:

animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/compare.php?comp=p&add=

You can also create a comparison using the IDs directly in a hyphen separated list:

animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/compare.php?person_list=###-###

e.g. animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/compare.php?person_list=1000-2000 to compare IDs 1000 and 2000.

and likewise for anime:

animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/compare.php?anime_list=###-###

e.g. animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/compare.php?anime_list=1000-2000

I understand that ANN may have other priorities, but "as soon as possible" is sure taking an awfully long time. Any status updates on this?

I've added the compare link, but in the sidebar instead of the top menu. It seems to me like a more natural place to put it.
