Oh, I have mixed feelings about this. Aoki is a director I have felt has only become better with every new project he takes on, but whereas I was excited about Trigger because of how completely notable and different Imaishi's style was to most everything else out there, the same is not present for Aoki.
I really wish he would stay at ufotable and become to them what Shinbo became to SHAFT. I hope the best for him and his staff regardless, but I'm far more wary on this new studio than Trigger.

I got mixed feelings about this as well. On one hand, it could bring new work from this studio that can catch fans' attentions with praise but then again could drop the ball with its reputation if it doesn't live up to its debut anime.

Interesting background, with the founders personally working on R-15, Wandering Son, Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar, Haganai, Fate/Zero, Girls Bravo.
I thinks it fantastic. It screams: Titties or SRSBZN, we're your guys!

He saw so much success in making anime with ufotable that I don't see what more he can accomplish by starting his own animation studio. Wonder whatever the hell happened to that one.
