I just recently finished watching an anime known as Jiburiru the Devil Angel, and I wish to ask if anyone else here has seen it. This anime is a four-episode OVA that, according to this site's encyclopedia, is not yet licensed in the United States. It is a hentai (erotic) anime, but it is definitely one of the better hentai anime series that I have seen recently; in my opinion, far too many hentai anime series are lackluster and not worth watching.
Jiburiru begins with a man named Naoto confessing his love to Rika Manabe, his friend since childhood. Suddenly, a mysterious figure appears, identifying himself as Asumo, a soldier in the army of Hell. Asumo attacks Rika and Naoto, conjuring tentacles to restrain them and, in the case of Rika, rape her. However, an angel named Loveriel appears, and drives Asumo away. However, Loveriel is injured during the fight. Naoto and Rika bring Loveriel back to Naoto's house, and Loveriel reveals that she can bestow her power upon Rika to transform her into a powerful warrior. However, in order to transform, Rika must accumulate amore ("love energy") by having sex with someone. Thus, she and Naoto eventually have sex, so that Rika will have the power to fight the demonic menace. I would like to say more, but I do not wish to spoil the story for anyone who has not seen this anime. Jiburiru is, in my opinion, quite a good anime. It has a much better plot than what most other hentai animes have, the artistry is shiny and clean-looking, and there are actually several comical moments in it as well. I have only two complaints about this series. First, neither Asumo, the only male demon who is shown, nor Loveriel, the pink-haired angel, have sex at all, or at least do not have sex on-screen. I found that to be somewhat disappointing, since it would have added some more variety, rather than seeing Rika and Naoto have sex all the time. Second, the series ended after only four episodes, and the story was not concluded. It was quite odd, as if watching Bible Black, but not seeing the two final episodes. I sincerely hope that the creators of this anime make a continuation of it, so that the story can be concluded. What does everyone else have to say about this anime? |

Actually, Jiburiru is licensed and already released by JapanAnime (if you ask me, that is the dullest name hentai anime company ever). ANN doesn't really take first priority in hentai liceneses anyways. Hmm, as for the title itself, well remember reading reviews of it on AnimeOnDVD which were pretty favorable. I might check this out; I'm always in a look out for solid, good hentai series (preferably yuri ones).

well is a god hentai anime serie. For the moment, i have only see the 2 first episodes, but it pretty good. I like it, it a good hentai a good storie and a good girl. Now i feel a little bit dissapointed to know that neither the angel of pink hair nor the little devil will not have sex, but what can i do... By the way, this one is good, but not as good as Bible Black !!! (also i liked fruit cup)

This hentai was rather forgetable in my view. I can't remember if it was actual lolicon, but it sure seemed geared toward attracting lolicon fans. Regardless of your view on loli, one of the biggest problems I had with it was the worthless repetition and the lack of sympathy or concern I felt toward any of the characters. Unless you're into to yet another tentacle rape fest with naive, young looking victims and perps who 'power up' through sex then think twice about this series. I seem to recall the video transfer was top notch though, not that it could have possibly saved the series.

Although I don't like to admit it I have seen this. I think it has a good plot as far as porn goes. It is also sick as times, but not if you know the Japanese/sicko stuff as well. And as far as hentai I think it is very well drawn and animated.
My only problem was with the fact the main character showed no feelings toward the other main character? spoiler[She loved him so much, thats bullshit.] So all in all it turns out empty, and it could have been more, as sick as it was. |

As far as hentai titles go, this one really was nothing special. It was your average mahou-shoujo hentai, with a transforming magical girl who must "recharge her energy"
 in order to defeat the main bad guys (whom happen to be real blockheads), gets raped in battle somehow by the villains, and then after a "super charge", proceeds to defeat them. Thrown in there somewhere is the main heroine's trusty loli sidekick. Of course, you also need the main male lead character who is pretty much useless and pretends to be a "nice guy who is willing to help out", but really is just in it to get his way with the girl. After his first time "helping" the girl "recharging energy", he gets into the habit of repeatedly bugging and pestering the girl to "recharge more energy" (with the convenient excuse that it will help defeat the bad guys quicker and easier).
The whole thing was entirely cliche, predictable, and dull. I was not fond at all of the whole tentacle rape business either, and the villains were extremely irritating and got on my nerves. And it certainly doesn't help that I watched Beat Angel Escalayer not too long ago. About the only thing I liked about this title was Rika's eyes, and everything else is, as daxomni said, rather forgettable. |

I typically don't go for the hentai genre because of the tentacle rape,rape or bondage content. However I found this series to be rather enjoyable because even though it had the subject matters mentioned above, it was done as a farce. It was like the producers were deliberatly poking fun at the hentai genre, and did a pretty good job of it. The story(what little it had) was not much to speak of, but it had nice animation and the female characters were cute looking. This one is good for people who want hentai thats a little more on the kinky side,but with a good sense of humor.
