I've been hearing some rumors about a live action Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora , does anyone have any official information on this?

It's official. To be aired on TV Tokyo this October, featuring Miku Ishida as Rika Akiba and Atsushi Hashimoto as Yuichi Ezaki.

No kidding! Is it supposed to be a fairly straightforward adaptation, or are they thinking of making some alterations or additions to the story with the live-action version? If nothing else, it'll be fun to see the Zebra Mask in live-action. Smile

Surprised

Wow, that's nice to hear. Personally I thought Hantsuki was an excellent series; now I'm interested in watching it (somehow).

Old hag!? Aki Maeda's merely 21 (only a few months older than me). I didn't think she looked that bad at all, and definately not old.

Perhaps old hag was overdoing it but she looked nothing like the petite 16 year old that Chise is supposed to be. All acting issues aside, she just wasn't cute and thus the whole effect created by having moe little Chise being the ultimate bringer of death was destroyed.

You trickster you! But seriously that girl needs to get banned from tanning salons.

Ugh - 29 is fine with me. I'm super psyched to see this - it will help the time between Sunday's go much faster Smile

@ Plemora
: Chise wasn't too old, but the girl did look a bit big. I think it may have just been the short cropped double breasted blazer in their uniforms, though - that's not a good look on anyone. But that Non-Chise-ish Chise, mixed with a Non-Shuji-ish Shuji, and the worst special effects this side of Mortal Kombat, could be expected to make even the best script work. Maybe I should start a new thread on why Saikano LA sucks? Twisted Evil

Well, you're talking about Yukari here, she like, looks 10 or 15 years younger than she actually is. Halko (29 years old) also looks like she's 10 years younger than she is. Well, Ryoko (25 years old) almost looks her age, maybe slightly younger though. And to top it all off, they have voices to match their looks. I don't know how seiyuu do it.

And I've always disliked the ganguro look.

I'm hearing the ganguro fad has been going away these days. Those kinds of girls found other things to do with their faces.
