There's Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku which is a spin-off of Lucky Star. Here's the OP for the recent animated shorts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7STbq-ZYhmY |

On an ANNCast, Robert Napton said the Lucky Star manga sold very well.
ANNCast, The Last Days of Bandai Entertainment USA (at 2:21:08): animenewsnetwork.com/anncast/2013-02-27 I'm guessing that another publisher doesn't want to start with Volume 9, or republish the earlier volumes. |

I was able to buy all 8 volumes at or near regular retail price, 7 new and 1 used, earlier this year. So there was still product on the shelf then.
Give it another year or so and there should be demand, plus maybe 3 unpublished volumes, where it makes sense for Seven Seas to pick it up. Mark Gosdin |
