I'm not even really sure how to go about searching this, so I do apologize ahead of time if this was recently discussed, and I missed it, but in the vain of imouto, tsundere and so forth as character types, I was curious about what the name for another character type is:
They're the characters that are strong, powerful, and capable, but also have cute, naive, or clumsy sides. Characters like Tessa from Full Metal Panic!, Saber from Fate/stay night, and most recently, I noticed it in Satsuki (young tomboyish basketball player) from School Rumble. Tsundere seems to be the closest that I'm aware of, but I don't see much connection between violent girls turned soft/with soft sides and capable girls with cute attributes. |
