I was wondering if there were like any good shojo/romance or like romance/action animes that are good? I've watched fullmoon because i liked how it had a touching story to it,AIR tv, because it had a weird plot at the beginning but gradually developed to sumthing relaly good, Honey and clover because i didn't relaly know what was gonna happen, Beck because it had good music and a fairly good plot, ouran host club because it was really funny and u could see that later on in teh series the relations with the characters are going to get really good, Tubassa chronicle because it wasn't that predictable. Oh i also liked Kiba but i don't really know why i liked it i think it's because the graphic quality is good and it's kinda cool with the powwwers he has. If there is sumthing like Kiba I think i'd like that too. Oh elements i didn;t like about sum of these were that tubassa got kinda boring in teh end.

Hope i met the requirements but the anime list thing i didn;t rellaknow hwo to create one or i would of. Oh thses are onyl sum that i could think of on top of my head.

This is definitely one of the largest (probably THE largest) category of anime, and while I can name dozens, here's a few of the better ones:

A good action one is Fate/Stay Night and has one of my favorite female characters of all time: Saber.

Kannazuki no Miko is a great action yuri, though I personally thought the mech battles were cheezy and zoned them out, it's a great show besides them.

Mai-Hime, oh god I almost forgot this one. This is another great one. It's sequal Mai-Otome I personally like better, but it's probably best to watch Hime first then wait a few months before watching Otome.

Shakugan no Shana (or just 'Shana' for short), has a REALLY neat concept behind it, and I forget who it was... but the best description I heard of Shana herself is: "moelicious"

Voices of a Distant Star is a love story you are almost guaranteed to be touched by. However, there is no more emotionally depressing anime in my book (the next closest has to be Air). If you're really interested in what I thought, check out my public list.

Look under the Interactive section on the left column and click on "My Anime" to make a list. Adding titles and rating them is pretty simple and straightforward, so you shouln't have any problems. (You might also want to spell-check your first post and edit it.)

Maybe, you might like Sailor Moon. It falls under Shoujo, Magical Girl, Action, Romance, Comedy, and a few other things. I think you may like it, based on what you said you liked.

In another romance recommendations thread, I wrote:
If you don't mind drama and a serious romance story, try Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. The first two episodes are somewhat uninteresting, but once you get past that, the plotline strengthens immensely. From there's a dangerous love triangle, many exciting twists and turns along the way, tear-jerker scenes in which you can't help but sympathize with the main characters, and bits of comedy relief scattered among the serious romance-driven plotline. The animation and character designs are both pretty good, and I don't recall seeing any glasses either (maybe in a minor character that doesn't serve much importance). There are some sex scenes, but they aren't very graphic and are short enough to not detract from the overall storyline. In fact, in a way, it even enhances the storyline, since sex leads to some of the problems throughout the series. The main characters are also out of high school already during the main part of the series (except for the little sister). The series as a whole is not light-hearted like Love Hina or Amaenaideyo! though; it most closely resembles the latter episodes of Shuffle!, if you've gotten there already.

A short, 6-episode series somewhat like KimiNozo is Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora. It is a sweet, serious romance story involving two patients in a hospital. Doesn't sound very exciting, but the main female lead doesn't act like an ill person at all; she's pretty energetic and full of life. Character designs are pretty good (more "chibi" than KimiNozo) and animation isn't bad, and the background music is pretty good as well, giving the series a nice "relaxed" feel throughout. Many of the characters are also quite interesting in what they do when they're in desperation. Overall, a solid romance story backed up by a strong plot and characters.

Even shorter than Hantsuki is REC, and it is much more light hearted the the other two. It is about a female seiyuu who meets an ordinary company employee, and as the seiyuu slowly rises to stardom, her relationship with the main male lead, Matsumaru, develops as well. Like KimiNozo, the characters are long out of high school already. Good animation, good character designs, and the main female lead is so eccentric and full of life that you can't help but squeal in delight (I did anyway). It's only nine 12-minute episodes, but it is still a fine watch with a solid plot.

Mai-HiME actually takes place in a high school (yay!), and it is an action-driven series with some romance (much like Shakugan no Shana). The animation is good, character designs are really good, and the soundtrack is just brilliant. The plotline moves slow in the first half of the series, but the second half gets so exciting that you can't help but finish all of it in one go after Episode 16. There is a very large cast, and all of the characters receive fair amounts of character development, especially toward the second half of the series. The first half is light-hearted and comedical, and the second half is much darker in tone and features more action. The main character is female though, so you might be seeing the romance from a different perspective.

I just finished Samurai 7. I know I'll get flack for this but I loved the whole series with only 2 minor complaints involving characters endings. Reason I say I'll get flack for liking the series is because a lot of people think its a bastardization of Kurosawa's, 7 Samurai. Well I never saw the 7 samurai, and I ended up liking this series a lot, it held my interest as well as my non anime friends from the first disc to the last. I recommend it.

Good animation/Good action/Fun characters.

*edit* Love story is there but it doesnt evolve into anything epic.

I am just starting on Honey and Clover, but I think this title would definitely qualify for shojo/romance. I haven't gotten too far into it yet, but I have heard only good things about it so far.

Oh yes, of course. Might I add that Love Hina is a serious, down-to-earth, plot driven romance and is a realistic and accurate portrayal of what actually happens in real life?

I'm probably the only one who is not particularly fond of Honey and Clover. Having comedy and serious drama & romance in one mix isn't a bad thing, but randomly switching between the two in almost every episode turns me away from the series. I gave up at Episode 15; this series needs to stay put.

Love Hina is meant for guys I think. It's not likely for a guy to get such a Harem, but if you only take the Naru part, it's not THAT bad even if it's unrealistic.
