It looks like it's just a brick of sponge cake inside a decorated box. It does, however, look more appetizing than that other Eva-cake shown.
This article reminded me that this year I vowed to get some holiday-themed anime figures to display at Christmastime. There are several Rei and Asuka ones, so I suppose time's a-wasting! The holidays will be here soon enough!
